Billy, thanks for the heads up on this!!! I wish I could say I'd be able to attend, but unfortunately I won't be able to make it over to the Left Coast this weekend. If you're attending, certainly I would love to hear what he has to say in general about the possibility of moving the lighthouse to Dauhpin Island, What he feels the economic impact of such an undertaking would mean to the island (not the $$ involved in moving it, more what it would bring to the Island once on land), If he feels that Dauphin can support the additional traffic/bodies etc.. from possible increased tourism. What he would be willing to do, or think needs to be done to promote AL's Gulf Coast in general, and what he thinks the Governors funding shortfalls will do to the Gulf area....
Phew... I think i'm done :-) Sorry, I tend to get carried away, but any of the above I think would be interesting to see where he stands. I'm not familiar with Congressman Bonner, but any person in a political position of power I'm interested in hearing their views. I've spoken with my local State Representative (Terry Everett) briefly just about logistics etc... but never got to delve deep into my questions, esp. since he doesn't cover that area of the State.
Please keep us informed as to how it goes, and thanks for giving us the opportunity to have a voice in this town hall meeting!!!

: Congressman Bonner will be holding a town meeting at Dauphin Island Town Hall this Friday, March 21, 2003.
