I appreciate the update on Mobile Point, but after reading this article about the funding situation in the state for the AHC, it doesn't leave one feeling overly confident about a lighthouse that the state hasn't taken much interest in over the years. I'm quite suprised that they list Ft. Morgan on their "priority list", as, at least in my mind, they haven't taken much initiative to promote and/or preserve it over the last few years that I've been visting.. just my 2cents and I certainly hope I'm wrong about the lighthouse(s)....
It's going to be a long long road ahead of us to preserve our history!!
