Ft. Morgan is where the AHC should be focusing. The historical focus of Ft. Morgan is significant to the state and nation. Lighthouses are nice and should be preserved, but in a time of limited budgets, locations with greater importance should get a higher priority, particularly if they have been neglected during past budget cycles.

: I appreciate the update on Mobile Point, but after reading this article about the funding situation in the state for the AHC, it doesn't leave one feeling overly confident about a lighthouse that the state hasn't taken much interest in over the years. I'm quite suprised that they list Ft. Morgan on their "priority list", as, at least in my mind, they haven't taken much initiative to promote and/or preserve it over the last few years that I've been visting.. just my 2cents and I certainly hope I'm wrong about the lighthouse(s)....
