The Sand Island Lighthouse is not open to public access yet. The lighthouse is not safe! Trespassing is against the law. Please be forewarned that as much as I hate to say it. Soon the property will be posted as such.
The lighthouse is not safe for you to enter, The A.L.A, myself nor the Town of Dauphin in any way approves of such trespassing!

: A fresh flag has been placed on top of the light. During a lunar eclipse and then under the full moon, it was a great night to be at the top of the light.
