Is this the black lighthouse tower that stands near the fort today? I just had to ask. I know that a temporary light was erected after the battle at Mobile Bay when the old lighthouse was severely damaged. I was just at Ft. Morgan last year and I am trying to imagine just which structure you are referring to.
